In terms of payments, the Italian textile and clothing industry is performing better than the national average, while retail sales, on the other hand, are worsening. These are the figures from the Studio Pagamenti, the quarterly intelligence tool on the payment behavior of Italian businesses, published by Cribis D&B.
In the first quarter of 2015 41.7% of the apparel industries respected the deadlines for payment, with a favorable gap of 5.4% with respect to the Italian average of 36.3%, while 13.2% paid with a delay of more than 30 days, against the 15.7% of the national average.
