The Spider is back and we have driven it. We were not disappointed as the new 2017 Fiat 124 Spider roadster delivered all of the top-down fun and excitement we expected and then some. Shortly that experience can be yours (affordably) at Fiat studios across the country.
The last generation Fiat Spider rear-wheel drive two-seat roadster ended its long run of delivering Italian-style driving excitement to American drivers in 1985 - over thirty years ago. We were fortunate to have been able to experience the Italian excitement of Spider then, driving a bold Red roadster for a summer back about 1970. Since then, we have benchmarked every two-seater drive experience to the original Italian fun-to-drive Spider roadster.
