Former co-owner of a $120 million private label clothing manufacturing and marketing company, Joseph Pietrafesa, has launched a new sportswear brand called Va Bene Style. Focused on uniquely designed casual sportswear aimed at the upper crust leisure set and centered around the sports of Polo, Yachting, Racing and Equestrian, the new online label will include both men's and woman's designs.
Pietrafesa's former company, The Pietrafesa Company, was once the leading private label tailored clothing company in America, producing large tailored collections for Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom, Jos A Bank, Saks Fifth Avenue and was also the tailored clothing licensee for Polo/Ralph Lauren in the late 1990's. When the assets of the company were sold in 2001, it had over $120 million in annual volume and employed over 1,000.
