The Italian American Baseball Foundation awards college scholarships to deserving student-athletes who express pride in our culture and heritage. LEARN MORE & APPLY! All awardees must follow the application process. Our goal is to honor graduating high school seniors or current college players. An IABF scholarship committee will select the winners each year. The scholarships are open to Americans and international students from Italy.
Eligibility: Must be an IABF member ( or parent ). Italian American heritage of at least 25%. GPA of at least 3.0. Current roster of a college Baseball/Softball team. Financial need.
Application Requirements: Application form. Most recent transcript. 2 letters of recommendation from non-parent (teacher, coach, employer). Most recent FAFSA form to determine financial need. Essay describing themselves and the reasons why they are applying for the scholarship. The applicant can also discuss their Italian American heritage and their favorite Italian American baseball/softball player. Make themselves available for an interview with Scholarship committee members
