Stellantis is in a bothersome spot at the moment. Anyone who's been paying even an iota of attention could've told you that. We need not re-hash the reasons why for the umpteenth time. But what it means is more than a few brands under this massive multi-national corporate umbrella could potentially be on the chopping block in the near future. Say what you will about shedding no tears if Chrysler or Fiat bites the dust. As far as Chrysler goes, it should've gone extinct at least three or four times by now, regardless.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be heartbroken if any of Stellantis' brands went dodo. Between its perpetually underperforming brands like Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Lancia, and Maserati, there's enough heritage and history to tell a robust portion of the history of the automobile. But Alfa Romeo? That'd be like a kick in the nads to see disappear.
