When we first visited with the Dodge Dart during its re-introduction back in 2012 it returned as a fresh-faced immigrant. That was just two years ago (though it seems longer). This Dart is one of the early efforts of the eventual takeover of Chrysler by Fiat of Italy.
"Dart" is a name that has dwelled happily in the hearts of a substantial number of American motorists. The original Dodge Dart, produced from 1960 to 1976, was thoroughly American, nothing like today's Italian-American version.
