Today, Italian Ambassador Armando Varricchio and the Italian Embassy in Washington unveiled a new logo commemorating 160 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and the United States of America. The anniversary logo serves as the official kick-off to a year-long celebration examining the past, present, and future ties between the two countries.
While paying homage to the traditional links between Italy and the U.S., the anniversary celebration will include discussions and events highlighting opportunities for cooperation around innovation, technology, research, economic, and trade relations. In addition, there will be a particular focus on the role of younger generations in enriching and strengthening our contemporary transatlantic relations.
