An Italian company has developed a plan to restore the dialpidated USS Williamsburg, once the presidential yacht of Harry S Truman. Green Yachts, based in Genoa, Italy, displayed the concept in a Dec. 20 spread on the website of SuperYacht Times.
"The proposal is to transform the Williamsburg into a moden yacht while keeping intact her original charm and classic style," wrote Maarten Janssen of SuperYacht Times. "The slender hull with streamlined water lines could be ideal for today's hybrid propulsion systems."
