Dopo essere già stata venduta in diverse parti del mondo, Gomorra, la serie TV prodotta da Sky Italia, Beta, Cattleya e Fandango, e ispirata al libro di Roberto Saviano e al film di Matteo Garrone, è stata acquistata da The Weinstein Company, che la distribuirà in America.
Ma non è tutto: i Weinstein vorrebbero anche realizzarne un remake americano.
