It is with great pleasure to announce our first honoree for 2019. The IABF is proud to welcome our "2019 IABF Executive" honoree, Natalie Spedaliere. Natalie will be our first female honoree and has been a remarkable addition to the IABF family since joining the foundation. Her dedication to our mission has been extraordinary.

Since coming to the IABF Natalie has taken the lead in organizing several events for us including our All – Star Weekend event in Cleveland on July 5 and our inaugural Golf outing in Ramsey, NJ on September 9. As an employee of the MLB network she recently organized a tour of the MLB studios in Secaucus, NJ for several IABF members. It was a memorable experience and she introduced us to on-air personalities like Al Leiter, Billy Ripken and Fran Charles.

The Bronx, NY native is the senior executive assistant to the President of MLB Network. In this position, Spedaliere handles the day-to-day administrative duties for the President as well as MLB Network’s Senior Vice President of Production. Spedaliere also contributes to MLB Network’s efforts around Major League Baseball’s jewel events throughout the year, including Opening Day, the MLB All-Star Game and the Postseason.
Prior to joining MLB Network for its record-setting launch in 2009, Spedaliere was a paralegal for the Law Offices of Albert W. Cornachio, PC, a general practice firm concentrating in probate/estate law and personal injury litigation for seven years (2001 – 2009).

In addition to her professional duties, Spedaliere founded “All Fore ALS” to raise over $36,000 for The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter through charity events and annual golf outings (2011 – 2014). Spedaliere also sits as the Vice President of the Sherbrooke Co-Op Board, plus volunteers her time to numerous charitable organizations in the sports industry.

Spedaliere is a lifelong New York Yankees fan. Her father brought her to her first Yankees game 35 years ago, and she credits the Yankees for teaching her how to work hard, strive for excellence and pursue every opportunity in life with passion. She holds a B.A. in Business Management from Manhattanville College (’03), and later earned her Master’s in Sports Business from New York University (’09) with a concentration in Marketing.

She will follow our other IABF Executive honorees Gary Perone - 2017 and Jon Paul Morosi - 2018. In addition to being our 2019 IABF Executive honoree, Natalie has accepted our invitation to join the IABF Executive board and we are very fortunate to have her.

Benvenuto e congratulazioni Natalie !
