InItalyNow in the United States, a Way to Discover the True Soul and Beauty of Belpaese

Dec 02, 2014 682

There is an Italy which consists of small villages, hidden corners, local traditions, ancient crafts, old practices and, of course, fabulous culinary recipes. The majority of Italians still live in these little "Italys," representing the true soul of our Country. To promote the survival of these "Italys," an innovative tour operator proposes "direct experience" tours for travelers who want to discover more of the real Country. The company is now touring the USA to present its travel philosophy.

"InItalyNow is a window on everyday Italy, something capable of generating emotions and ties with places, colors, smells and its people," says Stefano Capoccioni, one of the founders. "Our approach comes from the exploration of the territory and its typicalities and belongs to a wider recent phenomenon attributing great significance to the little dimension: here is the richness of our nation, its profound culture and ways of life."

InItalyNow's activities cannot be purely tagged as tourism as our experiences entail economic and social implications as well. "At InItalyNow," continues Stefano, "we believe that the value of such a formula is twofold: it not only enriches the traveler with authentic memories and feelings, but it also creates opportunities at the local level and raises awareness of non-stereotyped images of Italy."

Next year, Italy will host the Universal Exposition – EXPO2015 - whose theme is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life." This big event is expected to welcome over 20 million visitors from all over the world. With the Belpaese in the spotlight, InItalyNow is ready to divert a share of such an audience through its original itineraries into those little "Italys" that don't make the statistics or the news. On our adventures, it is possible to live as a local, to perform the tasks of a local: making cheese, picking olives, and cooking traditional recipes. "Only by getting your hands dirty are you able to grasp the true sense of being an Italian and start belonging to our Italy," adds Stefano.

From the 1st to the 16 th of December, the team of InItalyNow is in New York and Philadephia area to meet businesses, societies, foundations and people with interest in Italy. They can be contacted at [email protected], through the web site www.initalynow.com and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/initalynowtours.
