American carriers are significantly expanding their presence in the Italy market for 2025, with multiple airlines introducing new routes and increasing capacity across several major cities. Currently, there are half a dozen carriers operating hundreds of weekly flights between Italy and the United States.
Aviation analyst, Ishrion Aviation, Italy will be the tourist hotspot in the upcoming winter of 2025. United Airlines (UA) is strengthening its Italian network with three new routes: Denver to Rome, Newark to Palermo, and Washington D.C. to Venice. The carrier is also upgrading its Newark-Rome service with a 777-300ER aircraft and extending its second daily Newark-Naples flight.
