Danilo Gallinari is reportedly willing to let go of over $17 million guaranteed next season to explore free agency. The Denver Nuggets is scared that the Italian forward will go ahead with his threat possibly losing him in the offseason. Faced with this dilemma, it’s likely that the team explore possible trades before the deadline.
With the possible departure of Gallinari this summer, ESPN’s Marc Stein is claiming that there is a belief in the Nuggets camp that they will be trying to deal the Italian forward this season. According to the NBA insider, the landing spots possibilities are the Toronto Raptors or the Los Angeles Clippers, two teams that need to tweak their roster if they want to become legit title contenders this year.
