Back in July, Ducati reported that it had set record sales for the first half of the year. Ducati mid-year sales were up 22%, and Ducati Motor Holding CEO Claudio Domenicali attributed this growth to teamwork and the Ducati Corse racing division. Sales were expected to climb throughout the remainder of 2015 due to the top-selling model by the mid-year mark – the Scrambler.
And this proved true; Ducati reports that 2015 was its best year ever. All together, 54,800 motorcycles were sold – 9,683 more than in 2014, which shows a 22% increase. Domenicali says: "The record sales of 2015 are the result of our company's courage and skill. Ducati closes 2015 with record volumes and also a substantial growth of 22% over 2014.
