Roma have opened five youth academies in the USA, which will develop American talent to bring over to Italy. With the new American ownership the Giallorossi have been enjoying a particularly intimate connection with Uncle Sam, and the opening of these schools is the latest example.
In an extensive statement published on their site, the club explained in detail how the academies would work. "AS Roma has announced the addition of five elite U.S youth soccer academies to its growing USA Academy programme. "Those clubs – Crossfire Premier, Lonestar Soccer Club, Players Development Academy (PDA), Real So Cal and St. Louis Scott Gallagher – join the most comprehensive U.S youth academy program among foreign professional soccer clubs.
