From the Ariston stage, Carlo Conti announced live the launch of the 2025 edition of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour, dedicated to new young Italian music talents. The Sanremo Giovani World Tour will feature Alex Wise, Maria Tomba, Settembre, Vale LP & Lil Jolie. The four participants were revealed during the second episode of the Festival, and their debut abroad will take place in the North America.
The tour will take place in May and will visit five cities: Montreal on May 2, Toronto on May 4, Miami on May 6, New York on May 8, and Chicago on May 11. The concerts will be organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the young artists will be accompanied by a six-piece band led by Maestro Maurizio Filardo, the artistic director of the tour.
This initiative will engage effectively with local cultural offerings through collaborations with prestigious theaters and the involvement of radio and media outlets.
The Sanremo Giovani World Tour is a project of the Farnesina that offers new talents in Italian music international stages to perform and reach new audiences and markets, further solidifying the presence of Italian music in the global arena.
Since 2019, the SGWT has successfully promoted emerging artists from the Italian music scene, taking them to stages around the world with significant audience participation and engagement.
Culture is an extraordinary vehicle for building strong and fruitful international relationships: for this reason, the Farnesina dedicates ample attention to cultural diplomacy, with an increasing number of initiatives aimed at showcasing Italy's immense historical, cultural, and literary heritage abroad. Culture also has a strong economic value, including sectors like design and fashion, with an estimated overall value of around 600 billion euros annually and more than 280,000 active businesses.
