We will hear from Dr. Tyler Anbinder, Professor of History at George Washington University and author, talk about the history of Italian immigration especially during the period from 1880 to 1924, a time when over 3 million Italians immigrated to the U.S. Dr. Anbinder has spoken and written extensively on the history of immigration and was a consultant for Martin Scorsese during the making of the movie, "The Gangs of New York."
