The Sons of Italy in America St. Augustine Lodge 2780 is accepting applications for scholarships for the 2015-16 school year. Scholarships are open to any current St. Johns County High School student with a demonstrable Italian-American heritage (of any proportion) and will be judged by the following primary criteria.

■ Applicants must be residents of St. Johns County and plan to be in a program of study in the fall of 2016 at an accredited educational institution above high school. ■ The educational institution must be a four-year college or university, a two-year community college or a vocational/technical school. Additional evaluation criteria are described in the application package.
