Luxottica, the Italian eyewear manufacturer, said it has signed a lease at downtown Miami's New World Tower, adding to the roster of luxury tenants in the building.
Luxottica plans to relocate from its existing office near Miami International Airport in November, and will occupy nearly half a floor — or 5,000 square feet.
Other tenants already occupying space at New World Tower, at 100 N. Biscayne Blvd., include Christian Dior, Guerlain, Bulgari, La Prairie and Kenzo, said William Holly, president of Pointe Group Advisors, the building's exclusive leasing agent.
The 30-story, 285,000-square-foot office building is directly connected to the NAP of the Americas and hosts Miami-Connect, LLC, an on-site data center that offers secure, high-speed connectivity for the exchange of internet traffic and features back-up generator power and fiber optic cable for telecommunications use.
