Italian Language and Culture in San Severino Marche, Italy

Jan 14, 2015 1860

The University of South Florida is pleased to announce this 4 weeks program of summer study in Italy (June 2015).

The San Severino Marche program, directed by Prof. Federica Colleoni and Arnaldo Ciccotelli, is a four-week, 2 courses/6 or 7 credits experience conducted in the region Marche, an ideal setting for the courses offered because of its rich history, culture and academic tradition. Knowledge of Italian is a pre-requisite for participation in the program (Italian 1 level).

This is a 4-week Italian language and culture program hosted by Edulingua, an institute located in San Severino Marche, one of the most beautiful towns in the region of Marche. It is an ideal environment for those who wish to experience authentic Italian life in a peaceful and stimulating place, with all the services and an affordable cost of living.

The program focuses on Italian language and on the understanding of Italian culture and territory in the Mediterranean context. Along with half-day trips to discover the beauty of Central Italy, this program includes full-day trips to Venice, Rome, Florence, and Verona.

Students will benefit from a unique location, rich with art and history, but not excessively touristic. The variety of its landscapes, historic and artistic wealth, architectural treasures, authentic flavors of local cuisine, and hospitality of its residents, will make their stay unforgettable.

Dates: May 31 –June 27 2015

Admission is on a rolling basis through February 15th 2015
