One of the first restaurant projects interior designer Jon de la Cruz undertook after founding his firm in 2015 was for an Italian restaurant on Divisadero Street. With Che Fico — and Che Fico Alimentari downstairs — now established San Francisco staples, it’s apropos (or perhaps, destino) that Back Home Hospitality founders chef David Nayfeld and Matt Brewer would partner with the designer yet again — this time on the latest culinary cornerstone of Menlo Park’s Springline development: Che Fico Parco Menlo.
“When you work with someone from the very start, there is an understanding of where it all started, allowing a cohesiveness as we continue to grow and refine,” says Nayfeld. “The design is beautiful and really reflects where we are today as artisans and craftsmen.”
