Italian film festival opens in Carnegie

"The Mafia Kills Only in Summer" is like an Italian delicacy with intense sweet and bitter flavors. It will open the Pittsburgh edition of an 11-city Italian film festival.
The event, a collaboration between the University of Pittsburgh's Italian Program and the St. Louis nonprofit Italian Film Festival USA, is free, open to the public and spotlights seven recent movies, all but one in Italian with English subtitles. The documentary "Gold Will Set You Free" is in English and Italian, with English subtitles.
