Domenico Ghirlandaio was the artist that, in 1476, painted the Hall of the Last Supper of the abbey of St. Michael the Archangel, founded in the 9th century and enclosed in the wooded hills of Passignano, in the Chianti area.
Then the centuries damaged the structure, which meanwhile became the castle of the Dzieduszycki counts, who chose those spaces as a reception hall.
