Connie Caserta shrugs her shoulders if you ask about reaching 106, just six years younger than the oldest man in the world. "It's me. I just take life as it comes," she said. "People are happy for me."
A resident at ManorCare Health Services on Yamato Road, she defies assumptions. On the red carpet the week before at their fashion show, her birthday party drew more than 80 friends and residents, with live music, champagne, a huge sheet cake, fresh flower centerpieces and balloons.
