Antonio Indelicato and Maria Lombardo immigrated to the US in 1920 from Siculiana, a small town in the province of Agrigento. Together they had 8 children, 7 boys and one girl, Salvatore, Anthony, Alfonso, Joe, Michael, Anthony, John and Giuseppina. The first son named Anthony passed away at a very young age due to spinal meningitis.
Antonio opened up a meat cutting company on 10th and Cole in Saint Louis. Almost all of the boys worked with their father at the meat cutting business and some continued in that field into their adult years.
