In honor of Columbus Day, Binghamton will host its annual parade and festivities. Mayor Jared Kraham joined members of Binghamton’s Italian American community on Thursday afternoon to announce the details of the Columbus Day Parade.
Festivities begin Monday, Oct. 12, at 9 a.m. with a flag-raising ceremony outside Binghamton City Hall, featuring a performance by Tri-Cities Opera singer Kate Fogg. The parade begins at 10 a.m. “We’ll start near the intersection of Main and Arthur Streets. It will proceed east on Main Street, ending in front of the Broome County Courthouse,” said Mayor Kraham.
