Over the past month, the Plainfields' Chapter of UNICO has been busy with a number of special events--- hosting a contingent from Terno D'Isola (Bergamo), Italy for the first time in 19 years after signing a Sister City pact in 2009 with South Plainfield through our chapter, and the efforts of UNICO Past National President Anthony Begivenga and former Terno Councilman Giacomo Pedrini, who is also President of the Teremocc de Tern running club which came over for the exchange.
April Trivigno Bengivenga and Bob Bengivenga, Ida Taliercio Vitabile Stephanie Higgins Wolak Joe Abate Maria Sottiriou and many other members of our chapter helped coordinate a full week of festivities, as well as organizing transportation, and food preparation.
