More than 600 guests gathered in the Chicago area for the 2026 Italian American Liberty Gala, transforming an annual celebration into a powerful tribute to Italian heritage, community pride, and the enduring bond between Southern Italy and the United States.
Held in conjunction with Italy’s Festa della Repubblica and the 250th anniversary of the United States, the event highlighted the deep connections that continue to unite Italians and Italian Americans across generations.
The evening placed a special spotlight on Puglia, one of Italy’s most dynamic and culturally rich regions. Through food, wine, music, fashion, and civic engagement, attendees experienced the traditions and contemporary energy of a territory that has long maintained strong ties with Italian communities abroad.
