It was a busy holiday season for Rosanna and Giovani Russo, owners of Russo's Italian Bakery in Enfield, with cookie platters and other sweet treats practically flying off the shelves. But then again, when you make some of the most delicious Italian pastries around, it's hard not to be busy.
In December, the Russos celebrated their 25th year in business. "Knock on wood, as soon as we opened we were busy, and it's always been that way," said Rosanna. "There's nothing like this anywhere around here. You either have to go to Hartford or Springfield. We've been fortunate."
