Texans love their barbecue, tacos and chili, but it may be time to swap all that for pizza because a recent roundup of the best pizzerias in the U.S. put a restaurant in the Lone Star State at the top. Dining reviews and lifestyle news website Gayot ranked the best pizza restaurants in America for 2022, and a southeast Texas location made the No. 1 spot.
Bollo Woodfired Pizza in Houston came out on top for its real buffalo mozzarella and 00 flour — a finely ground Italian flour commonly used to make pasta and pizza dough — which the restaurant sources directly from Italy, the Gayot report said.
