The owner of a new Italian restaurant in Colchester said he launched the downtown business as the COVID pandemic lessened to give back to his hometown in a building known for hosting major events. Vito Fornarelli grew up in Colchester, and now he’s got a restaurant there “to give back to the town I grew up in.”
Fornarelli’s Ristorante and Bar opened in Colchester in the spring, but it started opening for lunch and dinner at the end of August. The restaurant, per its name, serves a variety of Italian fare.
