Two realities that share many values, an important pairing precisely to emphasize how the "Freccia Rossa" - one of the most prestigious and best-known Italian brands in the world - is proposed as a further symbol of Made in Italy in the United States.
1000 Miglia - defined by Enzo Ferrari as the most beautiful race in the world - is much more than a car race. It represents tradition, innovation, creativity, elegance and Italian lifestyle. These are the values recognized by Niaf, the most important and loyal representative of the more than 20 million Italian-American citizens living in the United States.
Its mission has always been to celebrate and promote the inspiring achievements and uplifting values of Italian culture and presence in America and to strengthen and enhance ties between the United States and Italy.
It is an almost natural partnership that was made official today in Rome between NIAF President Robert Allegrini and that of the 1000Miglia Experience Florida USA, Massimo Cicatiello.
The race in its Experience formula next year will be run in the USA, in Florida, creating an ideal link between the two countries.
"The 1000 Miglia," says Massimo Cicatiello, "is a timeless event, a race based on an almost century-old tradition and a symbol of Italian excellence in the world. Prestige, luxury, made in Italy, this is what the Freccia Rossa represents."
Robert Allegrini, NIAF president: "1000 Miglia is an event that has no equal in the world. An incredible vehicle of positive values. The ability to combine tradition, innovation, creativity, elegance, scenic beauty and Italian lifestyle has made the 1000 Miglia a symbol of Italian excellence in the world that finally lands in the US. This is what we make available to NIAF members with the agreement signed today."
The memorandum of understanding signed by the two organizations stipulates that NIAF will be able to call itself the "Official Partner of 1000 Miglia Experience USA Florida," promoting the race among its community in the United States and beyond. It will also facilitate the relationship with U.S. counties/cities involved in the upcoming "1000 Miglia Experience USA Florida" to be held Feb. 22-25, 2025.
The beautiful historic cars will travel the roads of Florida starting in Miami heading for Tampa (first stop) through Everglades National Park and Big Cypress Nature Reserve, then Naples where they will take a short break, then head north along the beautiful west coast of the peninsula, passing through such fantastic places as: Sanibel Island, Fort Myers, Venice, Sarasota, St. Petersburg. On the second day, the caravan will head east again, passing through Brooksville, Orlando and Cape Canaveral. From there south to West Palm Beach traveling along the iconic A1A. On the last leg, it will set off for Miami, where an impressive finish is being planned at one of the city's iconic sites.
