On March 5, 2023, Il Circolo, the Italian Cultural Society of the Palm Beaches celebrated its 46th Anniversary Gala at The Breakers Palm Beach Resort. The 46th Anniversary Gala was organized by the Gala Co-Chais Antoniette Vigilante and Lou De Prima. The honorees this year were renowned singer and actress Deana Martin daughter of Dean Martin and accomplished oncologist, pathologist, geneticist, & and researcher Dr. Antonio Giordano, founder of the Sbarro Foundation.  

Dr. Antonio Giordano was given the Distinguished Leadership Award. Ms Martin, beautifully in white, told a story about a recipe dispute with Sofia Lauren on how to make pasta e fagioli, while Dr. Giordano spoke about his Neapolitan origin and his family, especially his father who was also a researcher. Special appearance by tenor Carlo De Antonis, who performed in the memorable "Nessun Dorma”.

Among the special guests, former NYC mayor, Rudy Giuliani, the Vice General Consul of Miami Eva Albino, The Honorary Consul of Italy to Orlando, Antonella Brancaccio, Esq., The Honorary Consul of Malta, Art Furia, Esq. Niaf President Robert Allegrini, Comites representatives Massimo Reboa, esq. and Augusto Cavallini, and the co-founder of Casa Italia Paolo Mangia. Among the major sponsors Nero Hotel-Blastness group, Sbarro Foundation, Niaf, , Horizon John Scarpa Foundation, Bardaro Foundation.

The Gala program for this year included the cocktail reception and silent auction in the Mediterranean Ballroom, dinner & dancing in the Venetian Ballroom. The guests were beautifully entertained by the Legends Band that alternated typical Italian songs with the most recent hits.
