Everyone's Italian during the South 9th Street Italian Market Festival (http://www.italianmarketfestival.com), the city's biggest block party that runs along South 9th Street, from Fitzwater to Federal Streets. The nation's oldest outdoor continuous market will host this highly-anticipated annual event on Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th from 11am to 6pm, rain or shine.
Festival Highlights:
New this Year – Introducing the first ever photo essay book published by the S. 9th Street Business Association. The book is a compilation of pictures of the Market through Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Dave Lakotas, the photographer will be signing books which can be found at the Visitor Center at 919 S. 9th Street.
