In addition to receiving a substantial monetary award from the state, the winner garners international recognition, which is expected to boost tourism and the local economy. Throughout 2025, Agrigento will showcase its cultural and natural heritage through special events, including concerts, exhibitions, and contemporary art installations.

Constructed by 150,000 slaves, the Valley of the Temples is considered a prime example of Greek art and culture.
