On the occasion of the 21st Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo, whose theme was “Dante: l’Italiano”, in order to celebrate the Poet’s role in the history of our language, the Consulate of Italy in Detroit's Education Office, through the N.O.I Foundation, invited Schools with Italian Language Programs to experience the genius of the great Poet, by getting acquainted with his most famous work, the Divina Commedia.
Students participating in the project were able to produce drawings which depicted some of the most famous scenes of the Divine Comedy. These works by the students can be seen on the Facebook page of the Italian Coinsulate in Detroit.
