Sunday 09/11 @ 10:00 am EDT. Italian POW Chapel in the Meadow at Camp Atterbury (IN). Access to the Italian Chapel is: 65 South to the Edinburgh/Flatrock exit, and continue west on Indiana 252 through Edinburgh. Cross 31 and the road is called Old Hospital Rd., continue through to Camp Atterbury, passing the Atterbury Rock. Continuing west and following the signs to POW Chapel, you will turn right (north) on Stone Arch Road. A sign will be there that reads “EVENT” and leads to the Chapel Parking lot.
10:00 a.m. Opening Remarks and Devotions. 10:30 a.m. Presentation of Colors Ceremony and Mass. Mario Vian will chair the event. The mass at the chapel is always a poignant and solemn occasion followed by good camaraderie and good food. We hope you will make the drive to the Chapel and participate in this IHSI event, which has such a historic significance.
