
Connecticut Senator Ryan Fazio (36th Senate District) and Representative Chris Aniskovich (35th House District) have introduced Proposed Bill No. 1162, "An Act Establishing the Connecticut Italian-American Heritage Commission," to the General Assembly. The bill, referred to the Committee on Commerce, aims to create a commission dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian and Italian-American heritage throughout the state.
The bill proposes "to establish a Connecticut Italian-American Heritage Commission to preserve and promote Italian and Italian-American heritage, including, but not limited to, by developing cultural and educational programs, and preserving certain cultural and historical sites in the state.”
