About the Lecture: Dr. Robert La Rocca, Lecturer and Prof. Eric Ierardi, USA Delegate will discuss the history of, “The Risorgimento” (The Italian Unification), the political and social movement that consolidated different states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of the Kingdom of Italy in the 19th century. The dedication of a Bronze Plaque in honor of “Il Padre della Patria” (The Father of the Fatherland), King Vittorio Emanuele II will follow the lecture.
