The Ulster County Italian American Festival returns to the city’s Rondout Waterfront on Sunday, Oct. 8, from noon to 8 p.m. Festivalgoers will enjoy authentic Italian food, wine, music, culture and entertainment. Presented by the Ulster Italian American Foundation, the free festival in its 16th year, features live music on two stages, dozens of food vendors, a spaghetti eating contest at 2 p.m., wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities and more.
Louis Prima Jr. and Witnesses are this year’s headline act, with other mainstage acts including The Vince Chiarelli Band, Ars Choralis featuring tenor Andrew Hoben performing beloved Italian classics. The Leonisa Ardizzone Quartet and Michael Del Tribute to the Rat Pack, organizers said.
