The Italian Catholic Federation will hold a special screening of the film “Processions of Faith: The Story of St. Peter’s Italian Catholic Church, its Parishioners and their Saints” at 6 p.m. Fri., May 5 at St. Julie Billiart Church parish hall, 2475 Borchard Road, Newbury Park. The screening will include a catered Italian pasta meal and a Q&A with filmmakers Joe and Justine Medeiros.
St. Peter’s Church in Los Angeles was established more than 100 years ago during the greatest mass migration of Italians to the United States. The parish has played an essential role in the life of the Los Angeles Italian American community. The cost is $12 for ICF members, $15 for nonmembers and $6 for children under 12.
