Chapman University’s Ferrucci Institute for Italian Experience and Research is partnering with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles to bring you Ferrucci Fellow Nick Gabriel’s new adaptation of SIX CHARACTER IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR.

Gabriel’s adaptation contemporizes the language and circumstances of the play while maintaining the essence of Pirandello’s original vision. Even as he masterfully encourages audiences to consider the relationship between reality and perception, Pirandello poignantly weaves together themes of negligence and redemption in this seminal Existentialist comedy.
