Have you missed our movies? We've missed you! And we're looking forward to meeting and greeting you once again at both our venues – La Paloma and the Museum of Photographic Arts. The North County Series begins January 21 with Smetto quando voglio (I Can Quit Whenever I Want), a hilarious story all too familiar to many young Italians now in San Diego. It's poignant and funny, a can't-miss evening.
Our San Diego Series romps in with a masterful political satire, Viva la libertà (Long Live Freedom), a most excellent fable screened in time for our own election season. Put it on your calendar now: January 28.
For the past 10 years the San Diego Italian Film Festival has been dedicated to bringing you the best of today's Italian movies. The hard work delivers a quality and variety you won't find elsewhere. Make each month a celebration of excellence in Italian cinema with us.
Best wishes from our family to yours for the holidays, and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year to all of you and your loved ones.
