The Italian Cultural Society folk dance troupes, both children and adult, are once again performing at public events as the Italian American community organizations reopen their events and activities. Summertime is Italian Festival time and many Italian festivals are resuming their role as a celebration of all things Italian. Watch a video here.

On June 12^th, both our adult folk dancers, BALLIAMO!, and our children’s Bambini folk dancers performed at Festa Italiana in Lodi, California. The newly trained children’s dancers performed earlier in the week at the San Francisco Giants Italian Heritage Night game. The Bambini have recruited a new generation of young children to perform and continue the tradition of Italian dance. They were a joy to watch with their enthusiasm and energy.
