Born and raised in Italy, but currently living in St.Louis, MO, mezzo soprano Benedetta Orsi has earned a global following for her “breathtakingly beautiful voice, full and rich, with remarkable easy power and perfect diction.” Broadway World. Recently Ms Orsi’s received the Paul Harris Fellow Award as one of the 14 most influential Italian excellences, and only woman, to spread Italian culture and art abroad. 

INcanto, Benedetta’s latest album, has been released worldwide this July 2023 by the International Recording Label BAM Music. Recorded at Webster University Concert Hall and Winifred Moore Auditorium in St. Louis, INcanto is an homage to Italian poetry and music. The CD is being produced in collaboration with famous Russian pianist Alla Voskoboynikova and the internationally acclaimed Arianna String Quartet. 

The first two selections with piano and the third one with string quartet form a journey from early romanticism to impressionism, featuring works by Bellini, Donizetti, Mercadante and more.
