The Coastal Carolina football program is losing another assistant coach to the NFL. Brock Olivo, who coached the Chanticleers' running backs and worked with the special teams units the last two years, has accepted the position of assistant special teams coordinator with the Kansas City Chiefs, he and Coastal head coach Joe Moglia confirmed through an athletic department representative Thursday.
A blog connected to the Italian website for Repubblica TV first reported the news about Olivo, who has dual citizenship in the United States and Italy, played one year in Italy's professional football league after five seasons with the NFL's Detroit Lions and gained experience as a head coach in the country as well.
