Italy came to Pueblo last night, well, an Americanized version of it, in the form of O Sole Trio, a two-singers-and-a-piano-man team from New York City, who performed an enjoyable variety of Italian-flavored songs as the latest installment of the Center Stage Performing Arts Series at the slightly warm Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center.
Several hundred patrons delighted in a set list that ranged from the operas of Puccini and Rossini to the pop of Madonna Louise Ciccone.
