ESPN’s Taylor Twellman is talking Gianluca Busio transfer rumors. And this isn’t the first time. His latest report has “3 Big” Serie A (Italy) teams “keenly watching” the young Sporting Kansas City midfielder during the COVID Cup MLS is Back Tournament. Additionally a club from the Netherlands is watching as well according to Twellman.
Rumors of Busio heading to Europe are nothing new. As Twellman reconfirms, Italian giant Fiorentina made a $4 million offer for the 18-year-old last fall that Sporting KC turned down. The possible key to the quote from Taylor is that, “this one has legs, especially if Busio plays more.”
