Proud Italian American Anthony Iapoce has joined the Boston Red Sox as senior hitting coordinator in their player development department.
He was previously the hitting coach of the Rangers (2016-2018) and Cubs (2019-2021). Iapoce was also a special assistant to the GM in Chicago from 2013-2015, where he oversaw the organization’s minor league hitting program.
