Sometimes it really is all about being in the right place at the right time. Andrew Sciarretta caddied for his friend Brad Miller in the Travelers Championship Monday qualifier on June 19 at Ellington Ridge Country Club. Miller fell short of being one of the four qualifiers into the PGA Tour event that began on June 22.
Brett Stegmaier, a Madison native and a former full-time competitor on the tour, played in the same group as Miller and did qualify. He carried his own bag. Stegmaier asked Sciarretta if he wanted to caddie for him at the Travelers Championship.
